Making a Trusted Brand Culturally Relevant
To expand Tylenol Complete’s connection with Canada’s growing Chinese community, this 15-second digital video commercial combined the brand’s core promise—helping people recover and get back to themselves during cold and flu season—with culturally familiar storytelling. The objective was to create relevance and trust through authentic representation of a typical Chinese family environment, using recognizable décor and everyday moments. Working closely with the Creative Director, I developed the storyboard, sourced props and on-screen talent, and supported post-production with Cantonese and Mandarin voiceovers, delivering a culturally tailored DVC for both language audiences.
